The Craft of Service

In a grand hotel, afternoon tea is a transaction. In a private house, it is hospitality. The difference lies in a hundred small things: the way a cup is presented, the timing of each course, the warmth of genuine welcome rather than rehearsed performance.Julius learned these distinctions serving in the private apartments of palaces and country estates. Now he shares them with guests who appreciate the difference.

The Setting

Your tea is served in the private drawing room of a stately home, a Georgian townhouse, or your own home, not a hotel ballroom. The atmosphere is one of quiet comfort and genuine hospitality.
